Secondary weapons
Do you guys carry secondary weapons that compliment your second class? i.e, if you're a Warrior/Monk does it make sense to carry a staff along with you axe or sword? i.e. if the staff has spell bonuses, etc. ?

A lot of people do actually I've seen many warrior/monks bringing staffs in PvP, which might seem a bit unusual, maybe even futile, but they know what they are doing.
I actually bring a bow in PvP with my war/monk because I don't trust others to know how to aggro. |

All W/*'s should bring bows in PvE. That way the monsters dont attack the ranger and the tank can do his job. |

I'm a sword W/Mo, and while I don't carry a wand/staff, I have a weapon set that has a sword & foci (instead of a shield) that has +12 energy. That way, if I run out of energy and I REALLY need it I can switch to that (like in order to sprint away).
I could see having a bow for a ranger secondary though. |

How my Warrior is currently set up for weapons in PvE:
Weapon Set 1: Axe and Shield Weapon Set 2: Axe and Focus Weapon Set 3: Cane and Focus (I carry a Cane around even though I switched secondaries, heh.) Weapon Set 4: Longbow Since Warriors typically don't cast Spells a lot, at least not enough to warrant needing a 20/20 fast cast/recharge, you don't really need a Staff for that purpose. More or less you want more Energy for those times you're out, and switching to a focus or a one-hander helps. Quote:

Whoops, meant to type aggroing in PvE. But yah, it's a possibility of annoying other players by useless using a bow. Some people take it as in insult sometimes, IF you meet the funny people that run at saying "nub war/mo using bow! I smite thee!" and end up "haxor!"

When I made my Mo/R I actually wanted her to be mostly a ranger with a pet, but since everygroup expected me to heal I just molded back into the sterotypical Monk.
I always carry bows around with me (that I never use) and I sometimes brin my pet on missions so he levels. |
